For some reason, the Italians know how to enjoy the little things, make simply astounding food, and enjoy life to its fullest. Marriage needs to have goals to succeed. It’s with these habits and goals that your marriage can go above and beyond your average relationships. When your relationship is healthy, you are healthy. When you are healthy, your marriage is healthy—all the more reason to invest and work at your relationship. Setting goals only takes a few minutes — the result will improve your relationship and build a strong and lasting partnership.
There is great controversy among Christians surrounding the verses about wives submitting to their husbands, as well as great misunderstanding about what healthy masculinity looks like. And while I will do my best to answer the why and the how when it comes to what healthy spiritual leadership looks like, I want to first make it clear that just because someone is the “leader” of the home, does not make them better, more valuable, or more loved by God.
